The Continuing Education Department at UCNJ Union College of Union County, NJ is pleased to announce collaborations with two cannabis education and training leaders.
Green Flower whose content and technology platform powers the cannabis programs of top universities and colleges and Valley Wellness, a NJ-based organization offering programming specific to acquiring the basic skills and confidence to land a job in the cannabis industry in New Jersey.

In partnership with Green Flower, UCNJ offers three, online cannabis certificate programs:
- Cannabis Retail Specialist
- Cannabis Cultivation Specialist
- Cannabis Extraction and Product Development Specialist
NJ Cannabis Certified
In partnership with Valley Wellness, UCNJ offers the NJ Cannabis Certified certificate.
Learn about New Jersey specific rules and regulations, the history of cannabis, the human body’s enodcannabinoid system, the basics of cultivation, cannabis taxonomy and terminology including cultivars and chemotypes, an introduction to processing of manufactured cannabis products and what is available here in New Jersey and elsewhere, advertising, packaging, labeling, and testing requirements, and finally the ins and outs of working in a New Jersey dispensary and how to assist patients in the medical program that have qualifying conditions.
